In 2015, dozens of new fonts have been going live. I picked up some of great free fonts which you can use for both personal and commercial. I hope you’ll find your favourite one!
The Panda Font Project
Pandas are one of the most adored animals in the world, but with only 1600 left in the wild they’re almost extinct. WWF Japan briefed them on a campaign to raise awareness and generate donations for the Giant Panda program. They wanted a non-traditional campaign that would bring the Panda’s plight into our daily lives in a light-hearted way. Their solution: The Panda Font.
Panton has his own unique style in expressed perfect softened geometric forms. The free versions are also legible to be used in commercial projects.
An old western font which will be suitable for vintage style designs.
This typography is based on the Mexican culture called Otomí. It means corn leaf which is used in their textile designs.

The font is inspired by computing machines IBM Harvard – Mark 1, an electro mechanical computer read its instructions from a 24-channel punched paper tape and executed the current instruction and then read in the next one. It had no conditional branch instruction.
GABO is a free uppercase font, great for headlines and posters.
